Recurring clients, asked at the right time
Biweekly customers shouldn't get a review request every visit. Ask after the first month, after a deep clean, or after your team fixes something that went wrong. Not every other Tuesday.
For cleaning businesses
small Talk is review software for house cleaning, recurring service, deep cleans, and move-out work. Customers answer a few quick questions about the clean, the team, and how it went. small Talk drafts the review from their answers. They edit anything, copy it, and post it to Google themselves.

Why reviews stall
A customer hands a stranger a key to the house and leaves for work. That's the actual transaction, and it's an enormous act of trust. Then they come home to clean baseboards, folded towel corners, and a house that smells right.
And they write "great job, house looks amazing." Which is kind, and which does nothing for the next person deciding whether to let your team in while they're at the office.
Whether you have 150 reviews or nine, the problem is the same. Thin reviews don't describe the consistency, the detail work, or the trust, so they give future customers and Google less context than a review that says what your team actually did.
Built for your work
Biweekly customers shouldn't get a review request every visit. Ask after the first month, after a deep clean, or after your team fixes something that went wrong. Not every other Tuesday.
One-time deep cleans, move-outs, and standing routes need different review angles. small Talk uses service-specific topics so a move-out review doesn't read like a recurring one.
Reviews where past customers describe leaving the house unlocked, or coming home to something better than they left, sell harder than any bonding-and-insurance badge.

Guided draft example
Alicia M.
Bright Field has cleaned our place every other week for about a year and it's the same two people every time, which matters a lot when you're leaving someone a key. They get the parts I'd never get to — baseboards, the inside of the microwave, under the couch cushions. When I've asked them to skip the office or focus on the kitchen they just do it, no fuss. Once something got knocked off a shelf and they told me before I noticed, which is the whole reason I still use them.

Honest by design
Sometimes a new cleaner misses the guest bath. Sometimes a customer expected windows and you never quote windows. Sometimes something gets broken. You need to hear it before the internet does.
small Talk gives every customer a real choice. Post publicly, even if it isn't glowing. Or send private feedback straight to your inbox. No review gating. No hiding the negatives. Just honest customers, honestly heard.

Before you start
After the first month, once they've seen your consistency, and then only at real moments: a deep clean, a move-out, or a time your team handled a problem well. Asking a recurring client every visit is the fastest way to get muted. small Talk is designed for asking when the review will actually mean something.
Both. Solo cleaners send the link from their phone on the way to the next house. Larger operations send from the office or let a team lead send from the field. It works from any device with no app to install.
Only if the customer writes it themselves. small Talk never asks a customer to name an employee and never puts a name into a draft, because Google's policy addresses solicited employee mentions. If the customer chooses to name someone in their own words, that's their review.
Native integrations are on the roadmap. For now you can send a review link manually in about ten seconds, or upload a batch by CSV after a route day. If you want an API or Zapier-style workflow for your cleaning CRM, contact us and we'll help you work out what's possible today.
No. Google's platform policy prohibits offering anything of value in exchange for a Google review, and the FTC's Consumer Reviews and Testimonials Rule separately addresses incentives conditioned on sentiment. small Talk has no incentive mechanic in the product at all.
